21/06/06 - Fridays Class moved to Newbiggin                                                  Fridays classes are being moved down the road to Newbiggin sports center, The class will still run from 7-8.30, however members are welcome to stay until 9 if they wish to make use of the mats for any extra practice. All prices are the same and anyone with an Ashington sports center membership card can still use that at Newbiggin.

09/05/06 - New Class added at Whitley Bay & Club name change

We are pleased to announce that as of 16/05/06 Steve will be teaching an extra class in Whitley bay at the Marden Bridge Sports center. Classes will be from 19.00 - 20.30. For directions to the sports center please look at our locations page

Because the club is now branching out into Tyne and Wear it has been decided that we should change the name of our club from Combat Base Northumberland to Combat Base North East, as Steve Put it “the end of an era”.

Anyone wanting any information about the new session should contact Steve. Your first session with us is free so if you arn’t sure if BJJ is something you’d like to try then this is a great chance to pop along and give it a go with nothing to loose.
